We are a community-led mental health and wellbeing space shaped by lived experience. Creative Conexions was built for people like us, for those who have felt left out, boxed in, unseen or unheard by traditional systems. We honour the truth that no two journeys are the same. Support should never be one-size-fits-all.
If you’ve ever struggled to fit into neat categories, if you’re looking for something more human, gentle, curious, and real, you’re in the right place. This is your space. Your community. We believe in connection that’s grounded in care. In spaces where neurodivergent, queer, disabled, racialised, and otherwise marginalised people can show up as our full selves and be held.
Creative Conexions offers individual, group, and organisational support. Everything we do is rooted in lived and living experience. Every offering holds space for complexity, identity, and collective care.

Creative Conexions is proudly LGBTIQA+, neurodivergent-affirming, disability-friendly, anti-racist, and decolonial in practice. We recognise that decolonisation is not a metaphor, it’s a commitment to action, reflection, and reimagining. We are always learning. Always unlearning. Always making space for stories, for mess, for joy, and for healing.
Creative Conexions grows within the Rainbow Muse Collective, a wild and wonderful constellation of community care, creative justice, and neurodivergent joy.

At Creative Conexions, we believe in making space for your whole self, no pretending, no squeezing into boxes that don’t fit. We build connection through creativity, play, and deep listening. Our spaces are shaped by lived experience and rooted in curiosity, compassion, and co-creation.
We’re not just about “services.” We’re about relationships, messy, magical, honest ones. We’re about showing up in ways that honour who you are, how you move through the world, and what healing might mean for you. We center:

Our Services
Creative Conexions offers a range of lived experience services, to individuals, groups and organisations.
Peer Support
One-on-one or in community, peer support means walking alongside, not from above. Grounded in lived experience, we hold space for what’s real, messy, and human.
Project Coordination & Co-Design
From idea to implementation, we lead and partner in lived experience-led projects. Program design, group development, co-design leadership always grounded in care and justice.
Psychosocial Recovery Coaching
NDIS-aligned, heart-led support. We navigate systems with you, never for you, centering choice, autonomy, and your own rhythm of healing.
Lived Experience Consultation
We bring lived/living experience to the table, offering insight on program design, documentation, service delivery, and workshop creation. Real voices. Real change.
Lived Experience Supervision
Co-reflection, group supervision, and shared learning from the inside out. Supervision that doesn’t just tick boxes, but nourishes growth.
Training & Workshops
LGBTIQA+ 101, Trans and Gender Diversity, Neurodiversity, Alternatives to Suicide, Peer Support, Alt2Su Group Facilitation and More. We co-create brave spaces where curiosity lives and systems can be reimagined.
Vision
Creative Conexions was born from lived experience- mine, and those around me. I’ve spent years navigating systems as a person living with mental health challenges and disability. I’ve sat in waiting rooms, filled out forms, walked alongside friends through services that felt cold, rigid, or unsafe. Too many spaces ignore parts of who we are. Too many ask us to leave something at the door just to receive support.
Creative Conexions exists because we need something different. This is a space for those of us who’ve never quite fit the mold. A space that sees complexity as a gift, not a problem to solve. A space to co-create new ways of beingtogether. But this isn’t just for “us.” It’s also an invitation.
For those outside our lived experience, this is a space to slow down and listen. To learn with, not about. We offer consultation, mentoring, project leadership, and co-design grounded in lived wisdom—not abstract theory. We help organisations ask the right questions, move with care, and shift the way they hold space for others.
Creative Conexions is always evolving. It grows with each story, each collaboration, each act of courage shared in community. It’s not perfect, but it’s alive. And becoming.
